During Seek Sanctuary week three, we dive into the first two limbs of yoga and the effect that these concepts have on your internal realm. These are:

๐Ÿ‘‰ 1st Limb: The Yamas – how you relate to others
This includes concepts of non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, constraint/moderation, and greedlessness.

๐Ÿ‘‰ 2nd Limb: The Niyamas – how you cultivate your own lifestyle of liberation
This includes concepts around cleanliness, contentment, discipline, self study and connection to the Divine.

For those practicing an embodied yogic lifestyle (rooted in the orthodox Hindu tradition), these are our foundation. And practicing them dramatically reduces suffering… I speak from experience.
